My brother is the single father of three children. Two of them have Muscular dystraphy. He lost his job a couple months back and has been trying to get back on his feet. He made two payment to them and explained he was trying to get back on track after he started working again.

He told them his situation and that he needed the van to transport his children back and forth to doctors appointments and school. I was sitting there with the phone on speaker when the rep told him that's not his problem to tell somebody who cares. Is this what humanity has been reduced to? I will tell you this much. These are people who are real big behind a phone but wouldn't have the courage to say these things to your face.

He is still making an effort to get caught back up. I can see the constant phone calls are messing with his health. He does not want to lose his van. This would completely devistate him. People fall on hard times and have a hard time catching back up. Could somebody please tell me when the almighty dollar became more important than the human life? I know that is a quetion that is always asked but someday I would like a honest answer from these companies that almost went bankrupt until the taxpayers bailed them out.

Should we be calling them every day asking them where our money is?

Chrysler financial called me yesterday. The representative started to ask personal questions about me. Then started to talk in a sexual tone stating he could work something out if I was willing to meet him or send him pictures in lingerie.

My daughter is a single mother and has paid on her Nissan through Chrysler for over 4 1/2 years. She has repeatedly tried to work out late payments with them but this time she called them to let them know she was sending her 2 payments in that were late.

Even gave the lady at Chrysler the check number and amount. Three days later her car was repossed during 2 a.m and 6 a.m on a stormy Sunday morning. They are heartless. Those payments made her current to date.

Wow is all I have to say.

She was 5 weeks from receiving her degree at college which know thanks to them she is quiting. This Good Ole USA companies.

There are a lot of people on "hard times" right now. So I do not think any companies are throwing any customers a break.

Seems like he probably shouldn't have financed a car in the first place if your kids come first. Probably has a ridiculous APR and not good credit which caused his payments to be high in the beginning.

Oh for crying out loud. They run a business not a charity. Why don't you just let yor brother use your car.(assuming you are old enough to drive) If they had to be easy on everyone who had a hard time catching up they would have people lying and taking advantage of the situation and they would be broke.
