Never finance thru Chrysler Financial. If you are late by one hour or more the collection dept.

will talk to you like you stole money directly out of their wallet. It is demeaning, un-called for, inappropriate, and unprofessional to speak to a person the way I have been talked to by Chrysler Financial. I now despise the entire organization.

I have never been more than 30 days late on my payment.

The collection dept accused me of "not living up to expectations" "not being responsible" "Not paying on time ever" all of which is a lie. Never use them!

That explains it---you are too f ing old to understand english!! send me your email address and I'll let you know where to meet me--then I will show you how it all works grandpa!! You are too *** to understand your obligations....and too old as well--you might as well go crawl under a rock and die!!

To Funny

I'll tell you what you waste of skin.

Give me your name and loacation, and I will ride a bike to meet you, and then show you some "fine print." I likely am old enough to be you *** grandpa. Enough of your ignorant lectures.

You need to be drafted, sent overseas to let you know what the *** is going on in this world. You are a suck hole piece of dog dung.

Guest

If you don't like the auto companies--then I suggest you ride a bike....then you wont have to worry about them!! All leases in the USA are in miles and not kilometers.....you obviously didn't read the small fine print...

lemmik

And I might add.

Isn't it interesting and a tragedy, that when huge automotive industries and their financial institutions as well as the collection agencies they use, swindle us as taxpayers again to salvage their own BLOOD SUCKING LEECH adgenda's to save their own skin.

Oh yes I do live in America.

Contrary to what you believe, I do pay my bills.

I also fulfill my legal obligations, but in this case I feel I'm being scammed and if you do an intenet search, it appears I am not the only one feeling this way.

Oh buy the way I am smiling to know you are a grown man, with his own residence, concienciously paying his bills :)

reply to lemmik:

Obviously you don't live in America--so maybe the rules are different in your foreign country. I am NOT employed by C.F. I think it is hilarious that people complain about collection companies when they don't fulfill their legal obligations. I don't know what your specific situation is....nor do I care. You obviously owe them money for something....must not be telling the whole story!!

As far as living at home---not quite *** I'm a grown man, pay my bills, and don't complain about companies because they aren't calling me or sending me bills. I pay my obligations---that I cannot say for you.

Pay your bills and stop whining ....A class action lawsuit---please---if you have a case--file suit...if NOT then shut your fat mouth and go back to being a LOSER.

The vehicle I'd returned after the lease, was in mint shape, as I took very good care of it. The truck had just over 80,000 km's and my lease allowed me 100,000. The manager at the dealership after doing his inspection also commented on the overall nice condition of the vehicle.

Calling my actions irresponsibe, indictes to me that your views are biased defending C.F. when you have no facts to base your ignorant comments. I suspect you are employed by C.F.

I suggest that you move out of your mom's basement, get yourself your own place and get a life!

Guest

You probably have excess miles on the vehicle or damage to the vehicle. Had you stayed within the miles allowed / purchased and taken care of your vehicle you would owe nothing. Why blame someone else for your irresponsible actions?

lemmik

I feel your frustration.I also have a beef with Chrysler Financial.

I paid on a 4 year lease to maturity, every payment on time. Now they want to stroke me for over $2500.00 more after I returned the vehicle when the lease was finished. One word,....theives comes to mind.

I'd love to get enough people together with legitimate complaints to start a class action lawsuit against these crooks.

Feel free to respond.

Gigi---go read the news again---Chrysler Financial did NOT file for bankruptcy protection---that would be Chrysler LLC---again--does anyone know the truth??

Guest

Cerberus does NOT own Chrysler LLC---do you people even pay attention to the news?? Ya'll need to get a life and stop complaining----pay your bills when they are due and NO ONE will contact you---PERIOD!!

Hey "J", Chrysler and Chrysler Financial may be two different companies but that's just corporate ***. Both are owned by Cerebus Capial Management, a private equity firm.

Same company, same owner, same bull-***. Chrysler sucks as a company.

Guest

Also, J, where in Diane's post did she state that it was O-K-A-Y (not ok)and normal to be 45 days late on a car payment? Maybe your time would be better spent learning to spell properly instead of being an insulting ***! Think about it!

Guest

To J, I doubt very seriously that a person who is, as you called it, "broken down" would be able to manage writing a paragraph like this, so that comment is totally assinine! Secondly, I'm not saying that Chrysler is wrong in trying to collect their money.

My complaint is that they're so rude and use no common sense in their approach. As for relevant details, I gave plenty of details. Maybe you're too busy being an *** to comprehend.

I'm just curious as to what exactly you get out of being so nasty to others. Get help!

Guest

LMAO @ Diane thinking it is ok and normal to be 45 days late on a car payment.

LMFAOROFL @ Diane for thinking that Chrysler and Chrysler Financial are the same company and that she had to finance through Chrysler Financial in order to buy a Chrysler. Are people really this dumb?

Guest

I agree. They are downright rude.

And they call and call and call from 8am until 9pm.

I just keep my answering machine on because I can't stand to talk to them anymore!!!!! 5 payments left I can not wait.

Guest

I agree, I was even told by a collector "you obviously cant afford the car, why did you buy it" (45 fdays late....now all caught up. I will never purchase another chrysler again.

Guest

In response to gigi64, it is interesting how the mentally weak can be so easily broken down by these employed tactics. Also, great job at making the most verbose post ever without even including the specific details relevant to this experience that would help us assertain whether or not Chrysler Financial was in the wrong here.

As for the original poster, what is the point of this complaint?

Chrysler Financial is being liquidated. LoL donkaments!

I absolutely agree! For the first 18 months of our 36-month lease, we paid every single payment on time.

A couple of months ago I lost my job and my husband is in sales and things aren't going well. When they started calling (TWO days after the payment was due) I explained the situation to them and they could not have cared any less. They gave me several suggestions: go to the bank and borrow the money to buy the Jeep, refinance our house, borrow the money from a payday loan company, borrow money from a friend or family member. I told them that none of these were options.

I told them as soon as I could give them a date I would and they informed me that the calls would continue. A few days later I called them and told them I would be mailing our payment on such-and-such a date. They told me I would need to pay on their website and I told them that the website would only accept the payment AND a late charge (that has since changed)and we weren't going to pay the late charge right now. Then, they suggested either paying over the phone or sending the payment Western Union.

I asked if there was a charge for that and of course there is and I told them we were barely getting by and we were not going to pay any charges of any kind until we had more income coming in. Because I couldn't give them a payment date that suited them, they continued to call. I told them they were liars because they told me if I gave them a payment date they would stop calling when what they meant was that if I gave them a payment date THAT WAS SUITABLE FOR THEM they would stop calling. What's so funny about that whole exchange was that a few days later we received a "right to cure" letter giving us until 2/25/10 to pay the one payment that was due and that date was TEN DAYS AFTER THE DATE I SAID I WOULD SEND THEM A PAYMENT.

How ridiculous is that?!?! They couldn't just accept my payment date on the phone and sit tight. They have to send a "cure" letter giving me more time than what I originally asked for. The very next time I was called I answered and told them that I found it very rich that they would call someone for money when they themselves ran out on their obligations by filing bankruptcy and do you know what the *** said?

He said, "Do you know why we filed bankruptcy? Because of people like you who don't pay their bills!" I don't normally make it a practice to use foul language in this situation, but he got a big, old *** from me. We no longer answer the phone when they call (and they call six, seven, eight, nine times a day). I WILL NOT be spoken to like that.

Before I lost my job, we paid every last payment on time and for Chrysler Financial to allow their employees to speak to customers like that speaks volumes about what kind of company they are. I would advise anyone who is looking to finance a car NOT - I REPEAT NOT - to buy one from them because, God forbid, if something unforseen happens and you get behind.

You will be treatedg like a less-than-nothing piece of dirt. BOYCOTT ALL CHRYSLER PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!!!
