Chrysler Financial - Nasty Collection Reps.

I made arrangements with a representative on 7/30 to bring my account current on 8/15 as my pay date had changed. I did not have all of the payment for July, but I did pay what I had and I would pay the balance and August's payment on August 15th. The late fees that had accummulated would be paid by August 30. It has been rough lately, but I was working hard to get everything current. (I had just finished helping to care for my Mom who has been diagnosed with Alzheimers and there was a financial hardship associated with that which affected my mortgage and car payments.) This nice gentleman said he would approve that.
I kept receiving calls from CF, but I figured they HAD to call because that is what collection departments do. However, I called today to remind them about the arrangements that had been made, and the lady was very nasty, rude and told me that those arrangements were unacceptable and that I needed to get a payment in there today. She said that I needed to borrow the money from someone or get a payday loan and pay them. She was very nasty and completely non-responsive to my telling her that I could catch up the payments on the 15th.
I asked to speak to her supervisor and she was just as nasty. They must have a "nasty script" because both of them seemed to use the same words and did not seem as if they were interested in trying to work this out.
I have never been spoken to like these two ladies. Fortunately, I have their names and I plan to report their attitudes to some of the higher ups in the company for a start.

Spoke to CF.Have 3 leases with them and I have never been late(always within 30 days).I contacted them yesterday to try to get some kind of relief under these hard financial times.Well, the first to woman that I spoke to were not so bad. They transfered me to a supervisor. He was one nasty SOB.He told me to go and borrow the money from a relative or a friend.I told him where to go and how to get there after he was so nasty for so long.I think that they are not human and all they do is read from a script. They have no common sence. How long do you have to be late before they repo a car? Can someone please let me know. They would not tell me.

I agree with every one. I have had calls after 9:00 pm and before 7:30 am. I have been told my car will be a repo if I do not get my payment caught up which is only 30 days late. I have been laid off and my husband has been ill since 2005 of September. We have never had it rougher. I have been told this week that if I dont barrow the money I will lose my car by Monday. I am so sick of the dis respect and the way they treated me on the phone. Wake up Chrysler, your losing your *** right now and the Goverment (our tax payer money) is digging your *** out as we speak of your financial hardship how about helping your customers the consumer that is paying for your financial dig out.

I just went online to get some contacts to write a complaint to and came across this site... I too like alot of you went tru the same thing. One month running late...mind you i have a 0% loan based on credit. They called me and advised I could have it added to the back of my loan considering i have paid 80% of the loan off already- but i needed to fax forms over. I had to cb the next day I had no access to a fax. The next day I called in I got this nasty lady who said "no way- she would not aprv that cause im a late payer". she went into how my prioritys are not in order, that i have no intention to pay it, im a liar, and i need to borrow it from someone or get a credit card....insane !!!!! Totally insane. I got so flustered and mad I hung up.
my thought is - im a customer, so i plan on taking my loan elsewhere (my credit union)

*** *** ***. you all are a bunch of complainers. you all signed a contract stating that you would pay, or you would be relived of the privlage of driving your car. pay, or walk. your choice. if it wasnt for chrysler financial, and them collecting hard core like they do, the company would have no more money to loan out to all you poor irresponsible people.

i had the same problem with chrysler about there being rude and asking me if i could borrow money from someone, payday loan, etc. I told them the was the stupidest thing i have ever heard and that i would not. and that they could take what I could pay. and it was enough to get it caught up. I am only a month past at this time its funny that the collection reps say the same thing "this is so, and so i need a return call back and such # and ext blabla. " but they were still so nasty, and I am so glad that we will pay off our vehicle in december. good luck and don't let them scare you oh they also thearten that the truck will be up for repo if i didn't get them a payment to day. please email me any comments that may could help relief my mind. Thanks
