Regardless, Chrysler Financial is just bad business in the first place. - Go to a different bank and take your chances. - I had some pretty nasty reps talk to me when I went to pay, so I decided not to pay them and focused on other bills instead. - She called me irresponsible, I talked of their Gov bailout, and asked her, "Who is the irresponsible one now?" - I also told her I did not appreciate my tax dollars bailing out their irresponsibility in the first place... - I ended the call in telling her, "when you call me back with an apology, I will pay you." - Teach yourselves how to "take control of the calls" like I did, and they will either get pissed and hang up, or cry like babies. - Last resorts? - Tell them to come and get it! - When they see they lost such "control" they often will make an offer such as payment arrangements...The trick is to push them into a corner with little to no options for them! - When you do this, you will be surprised of the good things they will then offer you! - Understand, they don't want your car! - They don't want to deal with the hassles involved. - They want your money now, but often will accept it on a short term, versus repo!

Also, never let them see you cry! - If they sense that they are breaking you down, they will only ad insults to injuries! - Talk smart, witty, and calmly and never let yourself get excited on these calls! - If that get crappy as they usually do, ask to talk to the superviser and/or call back. - A different rep often gives different options! - I had to call 5 times before I talked to a rep able to work with me, so always try that! - Remember this as well. - A company's key root structure is often a reflection of the head big shot. - So, the attitudes you folks hear on the phones with them really does come down from such sorts as the CEO, VP's, and others' in that realm! - Crappy rep? - Well, probably crappy management too...Also note, many of those reps thrive on the abuse they give you. - That is who they are. - Gutless, but powerful behind that phone, and that is why many of them do it. If it were only for the money, they would be much more pro-like about it, and get much more money from the customers. - Think about it...I now only deal with CitiFinancial. - The best bank I ever dealt with. - They have trained reps...

You are obviously not paying your bills on time. Dont blame other people for your financial irresponsibility.

And, do you really think the phone rep has anything to do with the bailout?

I agree that we need to take control because we didn't cause this mess. They treated me like a Dog also when I called and asked to add six months to my current 0 x72 loan that I have paid on time for the last 25 months. They allowed me to finance a Dodge Car that MSRP for 32k and because of my credit told me the only way to get 0 percent for 72 was to finance 49k for 72 months. !!! I just asked to a little break to reduce the payments from 699.00 to 600.00 by adding the six months on the back. Hec - I paid 24 months,,,, They laughed at me over the phone.
